Dr Hazel Serrao-Brown is a distinguished Endocrine & General Surgeon based in Canberra, Australia. She undertook sub-specialty Endocrine Surgery training as the TS Reeve International Endocrine Surgery Fellow at the Royal North Shore Hospital Endocrine Surgery Unit - a position highly regarded by the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES) and the Australian & New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons (ANZES).

Dr. Hazel Serrao-Brown is accredited as a member of the IAES and is the only Full Member of (ANZES) in Canberra, ACT. This reflects her high volume surgical practice and dedication to excellence in Endocrine Surgery. She is on the post fellowship education and training board with ANZES.

Dr. Hazel Serrao-Brown is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). She specialises in the surgical management of thyroid conditions, including radiofrequency ablation, parathyroid disease, adrenal conditions, and also manages a variety of general surgical pathologies. She has specialist GESA accreditation to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Dr. Hazel Serrao-Brown also has expertise in laparoscopic or key-hole surgery including gall bladder removal (cholecystectomy), appendectomy, hernia repairs and haemorrhoid surgery.
